Leading Business Administration Programs in New York?

I'm considering applying to colleges in New York and want to major in Business Administration. Can someone recommend schools with top-notch programs in this field? I also want good internship and networking opportunities.

There are many fantastic schools in New York for studying Business Administration that also offer excellent internship and networking opportunities. Here are several ones that stand out:

1. New York University's Stern School of Business is one of the top business schools, not just in New York, but globally. It offers an undergraduate degree in Business with areas of study, such as marketing, finance, or international business. The school's location in Manhattan offers easy access to Wall Street, major head offices, and the Silicon Alley tech sector.

2. Columbia University in the City of New York also has an excellent Business program, although it's part of their Graduate School. For undergraduates, Columbia offers a major in Economics that is often pursued by students interested in business. Its Ivy League reputation and location in New York City offer significant networking opportunities.

3. Cornell University's Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management in Ithaca, another Ivy League institution, is recognized for its outstanding undergraduate business program. With strong ties to the industry, they offer good internship opportunities and the ability to network.

4. Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business in the Bronx provides a solid Business Administration course along with opportunities to intern at numerous corporations and financial institutions due to its proximity to Manhattan.

5. Baruch College, part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system, has a highly-rated Zicklin School of Business. It offers a Bachelor's in Finance or Business Administration, emphasizing real-life applications of coursework. Given its location in Manhattan, it has excellent networking and internship opportunities with major corporations.

Regardless of your final decision, I'd encourage you to thoroughly research these colleges and potentially contact their admissions departments or schedule a campus tour to better understand which might be the best fit for your personal and academic goals.
