What's the NMSQT cutoff for this year?

Hey everyone! I recently took the PSAT/NMSQT, and I'm trying to figure out how well I did or whether I have a shot at becoming a National Merit Semifinalist. Does anyone know the NMSQT cutoff score for this year, or where I can find that information? Much appreciated, thanks!

Hello! The National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) has not released the official cutoff scores for this year's PSAT/NMSQT yet. These scores are typically announced in September of the following year, so you'll have to wait a bit longer to find out the exact cutoff.

However, to get an idea of what the cutoff score could be, you can refer to the previous years' scores for your state. It's important to note that the cutoff varies from state to state, as the top 1% of scorers qualify for National Merit Semifinalist status in each state. You can find state-by-state cutoff score information for past years through online forums and platforms, such as the CollegeVine community.

Keep in mind that the cutoff scores can fluctuate each year, so this is just a rough estimate. Once the official scores are released, you'll have a clearer understanding of your chances of becoming a National Merit Semifinalist. Good luck!
