What are the enrollment requirements at Georgia Military College?

I'm interested in applying to Georgia Military College and would like to know more about their enrollment requirements. What GPA or test scores do they typically look for in applicants?

Georgia Military College (GMC) operates on an open admissions policy, meaning they consider all applications regardless of GPA or standardized test scores. However, there are a few essential requirements you need to meet to ensure successful enrollment.

1. High School Diploma or GED: You will need to provide proof of having completed high school, like a diploma, or having a GED.

2. Placement Tests: While they do not prescribe a minimum GPA or SAT/ACT scores, GMC requires prospective students to take placement tests in English and Math unless you have SAT or ACT scores that allow you to be exempt. The ACCUPLACER test is used by GMC for placement purposes. You'll need to score a minimum of 61 in Reading, 4 in WritePlacer, and 41 in Elementary Algebra to be exempt from taking Learning Support classes.

3. Citizenship Status: You must be a U.S. citizen or a Permanent Resident with a valid green card. If not, you'll be characterized as a foreign student, and different rules will apply to you.
