Furman University offers a wide variety of undergraduate degree programs across a broad range of disciplines. The school is known for its liberal arts and sciences education, offering Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees, as well as Bachelor’s in Music (B.M.) and in Fine Arts (B.F.A.).

The university offers more than 60 fields of study, but some popular areas include Business Administration, Biology, Political Science, and Psychology. Notably, Furman also has strong programs in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, fine arts, and performing arts.

In terms of unique standouts, Furman offers an Asian Studies, Sustainability Science, and Earth and Environmental Sciences major which may not be common at all institutions. Plus, if you're interested in music, Furman has a well-regarded music program.

Moreover, Furman is known for its interdisciplinary programs that integrate multiple fields of study, such as Neuroscience, Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and Health Sciences, among others.

If you are not sure about a specific major, Furman offers an exploratory studies track to help you identify your interests, strengths, and career aspirations before you settle on a definite choice.

One of Furman’s defining features, which spans across all of its programs, is the emphasis on undergraduate research, community-centered learning, and internships.

Hopefully, you find a program that aligns with your interests and career goals at Furman University! Make sure to cross-reference on their website for the most up-to-date degree options if you haven't already done so.
