Is Columbia College a good choice?

I'm considering applying to Columbia College and I'm curious about its reputation and academic programs. Would love to hear from anyone with firsthand experiences or insights into the campus culture.

Columbia also offers a vibrant campus life that's centered in New York City. Consequently, students have the unique opportunity to take advantage of the cultural, educational, and professional opportunities available in one of the world’s most energetic cities. However, keep in mind that as exciting as New York City can be, it also can be overwhelming and expensive for some students.

As far as campus culture, Columbia is known for its passionate, driven, and diverse group of students. This can instill a somewhat competitive academic environment, but also means you'll be surrounded by peers who are deeply engaged with their studies. In addition, it's worth noting that social justice and activism are integral to the campus culture, so if you're interested in those areas, you would find plenty of opportunities.
