What are the best colleges for Montessori education?

I'm really interested in pursuing Montessori education after high school. Can anyone recommend some of the best colleges known for their Montessori teacher training programs? I'm curious about both undergraduate and graduate options in the U.S.

There are quite a few colleges in the U.S that are renowned for their Montessori teacher training programs. For undergraduate programs, Xavier University in Ohio provides a Montessori Teacher Education program that leads to an American Montessori Society (AMS) credential. The University of Wisconsin-River Falls is also a good choice. They offer an Elementary Education bachelor's program with a Montessori emphasis in collaboration with the Montessori Center of Minnesota.

For graduate options, there's Loyola University Maryland which offers a Master’s program in Montessori education and Leadership in partnership with the Washington Montessori Institute. Stanford University's Graduate School of Education also offers Elementary (PreK-6) Montessori Teacher Education program, and it's one of the most prestigious names in education.

Remember, however, that seeking a program that aligns with your overall professional and personal goals is crucial. Programs can vary, in terms of course load, internship opportunities, and costs, among others. Make sure you get all the information regarding the program features and requirements.
