Suggestions for the best construction management colleges?

I'm really interested in construction management and want to find the best colleges offering this major. I want a program with hands-on learning and good job placements. What are some great schools for this field?

Absolutely, there are several universities recognized for strong construction management programs.

- Purdue University: Their construction management program offers a balance of coursework in management and engineering operating procedures. You'll gain hands-on experience through lab work, project-based learning, and an internship/co-op experience. Purdue's Construction Engineering and Management (CEM) graduates have found roles in consulting, contracting, and more.

- Auburn University: Within the McWhorter School of Building Science, the Construction Management program incorporates real-world applications through labs and field experiences. They also have a highly successful Cooperative Education Program where the students alternate semesters of full-time study with semesters of full-time employment in construction.

- Clemson University: Constructed in 1939, Clemson's construction science and management department boasts a nearly 100% job placement rate within just three months after graduation. The program includes a mandatory internship before graduation ensuring hands-on learning experience for each student.

- California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly): At Cal Poly, the Construction Management program includes a Learn-by-Doing approach. The curriculum includes construction materials and methods, estimating, scheduling, and project management. They also conduct a yearly career fair which gives students plenty of job opportunities.

I would recommend checking out the course offerings and faculty at each school to see which aligns best with your interests and career goals. Also, make sure to leverage their career services and networks for successful job placement after graduation. Remember, the "best" school will depend on factors unique to you–from location to cost. Good luck in your search!
