How many undergrads are there at USC?

Trying to get a feel for the size of USC's undergraduate population. Does anyone know how many undergrads are currently enrolled? Wondering if it feels like a big university or if it's more tight-knit.

USC, the University of Southern California, is classified as a large institution. As of Fall 2021, they have approximately 20,500 undergraduate students enrolled. The size of the student body can make it feel like a large university, but that doesn't mean it lacks a sense of community or intimacy.

USC is composed of various residential colleges and academic schools, where students typically spend a lot of their time. These smaller communities within USC can create a more tight-knit, cohesive experience. Furthermore, USC has a multitude of clubs, organizations, and teams that contribute to creating smaller communities within the larger university. Many students find that becoming involved in these groups can help the university feel like a smaller, tight-knit community.

Additionally, USC offers small class sizes with a student-faculty ratio of 9:1 and an average class size of 26 students. This can foster a more immersive and personal academic experience, despite the overall large size of the university.

Remember, everyone's perception of a "large" or "small" school can vary. I would recommend visiting the campus, if possible, or virtually talking to current students to get a sense of what it might be like for you.
