Bucknell's Early Decision acceptance rate?

I'm thinking about applying Early Decision to Bucknell University and was curious about how many students get accepted this way. Is it significantly easier, and would applying ED give me a better shot?

Applying Early Decision (ED) can have a substantial impact on your likelihood of acceptance at many schools, and Bucknell University is no exception. ED applicants tend to be accepted at higher rates in comparison to Regular Decision (RD) applicants. Remember, this is partly due to a self-selection effect; students who apply to ED usually have strong profiles and are highly interested in the school.

For the 2023-24 application cycle, Bucknell University's ED acceptance rate was approximately 59%, significantly higher than its overall acceptance rate of roughly 32%. So, if Bucknell is your top-choice school and you feel your application is as strong as it can be, applying ED might indeed give you a better shot.

That said, keep in mind that ED is a binding commitment. If accepted, you have to attend the university, barring extreme circumstances (such as being unable to afford attendance even with your financial aid package). So, applying ED is a big decision that requires thoughtful consideration.
