Which Philadelphia Colleges Offer Strong Business Programs?

I'm considering going to college in Philadelphia and want to focus on business. Can anyone suggest which colleges in Philly are known for having strong business programs?

Philadelphia is home to several universities with highly regarded business programs.

At the top of the list would be University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, which is arguably one of the finest business programs in the entire world. This Ivy League institution is known for its strong business program, focusing on finance, entrepreneurship, marketing, and other facets of business. It's an excellent choice if you're hoping to secure internships and job opportunities not only in Philadelphia, but worldwide.

Another well-respected business program is at Drexel University's LeBow College of Business, known for their co-op program where you can gain valuable work experience. They offer concentrations in areas such as finance, marketing, supply chain management, and business analytics among others.

Temple University's Fox School of Business is another strong option. Known for its hands-on learning approach, in the classroom and through internships, Temple provides a great educational foundation in business. The Fox School of Business has been particularly recognized for entrepreneurial and Risk Management and Insurance programs.

Finally, you might also consider Saint Joseph's University’s Haub School of Business, which offers strong programs in business intelligence and analytics and food marketing, underscoring their emphasis on specialized, niche areas of business. Their co-op program also allows students to gain professional experience while studying.

Keep in mind that choosing the right business program for you is not just about rankings. Consider factors like class size, extracurricular opportunities, internships, and the culture of the school to find the right fit for your goals and personality.
