What is the best UC for engineering majors?

I'm thinking of going to a UC school for engineering. There's a lot to choose from, but which one is known for having the best engineering program at an undergraduate level?

UC Berkeley and UCLA are commonly recognized for their high-quality engineering programs at the undergraduate level.

UC Berkeley’s College of Engineering is often ranked among the top engineering schools globally, providing a far-reaching curriculum that covers various engineering disciplines. The college is especially known for its programs in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, and Mechanical Engineering.

On the other hand, UCLA's Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science is another top-rated college for engineering, known for programs in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

UC San Diego's Jacobs School of Engineering, with its impressive programs in Bioengineering, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering, deserves a notice as well.

When selecting a school, remember to consider various factors beyond simply the reputation of an engineering program. Aspects such as faculty, research opportunities, internships, and co-op opportunities, and the engineering subfield you're interested in can significantly influence your undergraduate experience.

Remember to visit the college's websites, connect with current students or alumni, and explore other resources available to you to make an informed decision. Every UC has its own unique strengths, campus culture, and opportunities, and the most crucial thing is to find a school that aligns well with your individual goals and interests.
