Majors at Central Connecticut State University?

I'm looking into Central Connecticut State University and trying to figure out what majors they offer. Does anyone know if they have strong programs in fields like engineering or business? I'd love to hear from current students or alumni!

Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) does indeed offer a number of strong programs spanning various fields. For engineering, they have a School of Engineering, Science, and Technology which offers degrees in Engineering with concentrations in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. They also offer a degree in Computer Engineering Technology.

On the business end, their School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) - this is a high-level accreditation that only around 5% of the world's business schools can boast. They offer a Bachelor's of Science in Business degree with concentrations in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Marketing, and Supply Chain and Logistics Management, to name a few.

Of course, the strength of a program is often subjective and depends on what exactly you're looking to get out of your education. Talking to current students, alumni, or faculty might help you get a better sense of what these programs are like. College inhabitants forums like this one are a good place to start, as well as reaching out to the university's admissions office to possibly set up a conversation or visit. It's always a good idea to gather as much information as you can to make the most informed decision about your educational path.
