Any good colleges in Savannah, Georgia?

I'm planning a visit to Savannah and I'm also considering it for college. What are some good colleges in the area? I'm interested in schools with a strong focus on the arts or history.

Sure, there are a few colleges in Savannah which can cater to your interests!

1. Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD): If you're interested in the arts, this is a top choice to consider. SCAD is known for its programs in design, fine arts, and other related fields. Students appreciate the hands-on learning style and the resources available, including modern technology and facilities.

2. Armstrong State University (now a part of Georgia Southern University - Armstrong Campus): This campus offers more traditional programs but it does have departments focusing on History, Art, and other related humanities. You might appreciate the more traditional university environment this option offers, plus it's known for its strong community.

3. Savannah State University: It's a historically black college that offers a vibrant community and various programs in liberal arts, business, and the sciences. They do offer courses in history, and visual and performing arts.

Remember, "good" is quite subjective and can depend on a lot of factors other than academics, like the culture, location, cost, etc. If possible, try attending tours or information sessions at these schools during your visit to give you a better feel of the environment and the people there.
