What is Marist's acceptance rate looking like for 2024?

I'm trying to gauge my chances of getting into Marist College for 2024. Does anyone know what their acceptance rate is for this year, and if it's gone up or down from previous years?

Marist College's acceptance rate for the 2024 incoming class hasn't been officially released yet, as the admissions cycle for this year is still ongoing. Typically, official acceptance rates are announced by colleges post their admissions decisions, mostly around the late spring or early summer.

However, in recent years, the acceptance rate at Marist College has hovered around 55% in 2020 and fluctuated to about 49% in 2023, indicating a moderately selective admissions process. The change in acceptance rate can sometimes be attributed to a variety of factors, such as an increase or decrease in the number of applicants or modifications in admissions policies.

That said, just keep in mind that an acceptance rate doesn't tell the whole story and it's also important to consider whether your individual profile aligns with the profiles of previously admitted students in terms of GPA, test scores (if you're submitting them), and extracurricular involvement. It would be great for you to conduct a self-assessment on how well you fit within Marist's typical admitted student profile. Don't forget to give due attention to your essays, as well – they help you stand out in the applicant pool.

Lastly, remember that statistics can only tell you so much. Every application is considered on its own merits, so do your best in showing why Marist is a great fit for you, and vice versa.
