I'm curious about which majors are most popular at the University of Miami. Are there specific programs that stand out or have a good reputation? Any info on unique majors would be awesome!
The University of Miami (often referred to as UM or U Miami) offers a wide range of majors, but there are a few programs in particular that attract a large number of students and/or have particularly strong national reputations.
For instance, Business, Management, and Marketing is a major area of study at UM, with special emphasis on Finance and Marketing. Many students also enroll in Health Professions which includes majors like Nursing and Health Science. The third broad category that draws substantial enrollment is Biological and Biomedical Sciences. Beyond these, Visual and Performing Arts (particularly Music), and Engineering (with prominence on Biomedical and Civil Engineering) are also well-regarded.
