Any high paying part-time jobs for international students in USA?

I'm planning to move to the USA for my studies and need a part-time job to support myself. Are there any high paying part-time jobs for international students that you guys know of? What's realistically possible to earn while studying?

Most U.S. universities allow international students to work on campus for up to 20 hours a week during the academic year and full-time during breaks. On-campus jobs could range from working in the dining hall or library to research assistantships. The pay might not be high, typically starting from minimum wage, but they offer convenience and flexibility around your class schedule. Also, these jobs sometimes provide additional benefits, like meal plans or tuition discounts.

Another higher paying option could be tutoring or teaching assistant positions. If you are proficient in a particular subject or a language, tutoring can be an excellent way to utilize and monetize your skills. Furthermore, you could find job opportunities as a teaching assistant in your major department, but these opportunities will depend on the department and might require previous experience or advanced coursework.

If you are a graduate student, especially in STEM programs, research assistantships can be a good option. These roles often involve working on projects under a professor's guidance and can offer tuition waiver and stipend in some cases, effectively making them among the highest paying options for international students.

In terms of realistic earnings, the pay range can be anywhere from $7.25 (which is the federal minimum wage) to $15 per hour depending on the state minimum wage, the complexity of the job, and the level of your skills.

Remember to consult your school's international office and review the terms of your student visa as they can guide you in understanding any work regulations related to your status. It's essential to stay within legal guidelines to protect your study status in the U.S.
