What high school jobs look good on college applications?

I'm a junior looking to boost my college applications with a job. What kinds of high school jobs are impressive to colleges? Trying to find something manageable with my current schedule.

Tutoring can be a great option, especially if you're strong in a particular subject. This can demonstrate your academic abilities, as well as skills in leadership, patience, and communication.

Working in a local business or organization related to your intended field of study can show proactive interest and dedication. For example, if you're interested in a healthcare career, a job in a local pharmacy or at a healthcare clinic could be beneficial.

Customer service roles, such as working in retail or as a server at a restaurant, can indicate strong communication skills and resilience. It's often demanding work requiring empathy, patience, and problem-solving skills.
