Choosing a University for Studying in the US

I'm applying to universities in the US and I'm overwhelmed by the number of choices. How did you guys decide which university was the right fit for you? Any specific factors I should consider that might not be obvious right away?

First off, it's completely normal to feel overwhelmed by the wealth of choices.

There are several factors that can help guide you in choosing the right fit:

1. Academics: Consider the strength of the program you're interested in. Some universities might be overall top-ranking, but may not be as strong in your specific area of interest.
