Experiences with Bath and Body Works seasonal jobs?

Has anyone worked a seasonal job at Bath and Body Works? I love their products and am wondering if it's a fun place to work during the busy season. Any advice or experiences to share?

I have not personally worked at Bath and Body Works, but from speaking to students who have, I can share that many say it can be thoroughly enjoyable, particularly for those who are enthusiastic about the products. An appreciation for the company's range can be especially helpful in assisting customers to find the perfect gifts during the holiday rush.

In terms of workload, seasonal roles, especially during peak trading periods such as Black Friday and the holiday season, can be fast-paced with high customer volumes. This is something to consider if you're looking for a slower-paced job or you prefer working in quieter environments. On the plus side, it often means shifts go by quickly and it provides plenty of opportunities to develop excellent customer service skills.

Additionally, employees often mention the benefits of the employee discount, which can be a significant perk if you enjoy their products.

Remember to ask about the expectations for seasonal staff during your interview. Stores often hope their seasonal hires will stay on full or part-time after the holiday season, so it could potentially turn into a longer term opportunity if you enjoy the experience.

Seasonal retail roles can provide terrific experience and skills that will serve you well in many future job environments, including time management, customer service, team collaboration, and problem-solving under pressure. Best of luck!
