Best nursing schools in Kentucky?

I want to study nursing and am looking at schools in Kentucky. Does anyone have suggestions for the top nursing programs in the state? Any insights would be awesome!

If you're looking at nursing programs in Kentucky, there are a few that stand out in terms of their reputations, the range of programs they offer, and their NCLEX pass rates which speak to the quality of the programs.

1. University of Kentucky in Lexington: Their College of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), an RN-to-BSN program, and an accelerated BSN program. The latter is designed for students who already have a bachelor's degree in a different field and want to transition into nursing.

2. Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green: This university's School of Nursing offers traditional BSN, an RN-to-BSN program, and an accelerated second-degree option. The school has accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

3. Northern Kentucky University located in Highland Heights: This university also offers a traditional BSN program, an online RN-to-BSN program, and an accelerated BSN program for students with a bachelor’s degree in another field wishing to transition into nursing. Their programs are also accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

4. Bellarmine University in Louisville: Their Lansing School of Nursing and Clinical Sciences has various degree routes including traditional BSN, RN-to-BSN, and an accelerated second-degree BSN program.

I would recommend researching these programs further, reach out to admissions or current students, and if possible visit the campuses to get a deeper understanding of what might be the best fit for your personal goals and learning style. Nursing is a rigorous and rewarding field, and all these programs have demonstrated success in preparing their students for careers in nursing.
