Best Oklahoma College for Graphic Design?

I live in Oklahoma and want to study graphic design. Can anyone share which college offers the best program in this field? I'm also curious about any facilities or resources they'd have for undergrads.

The most prominent options for studying Graphic Design in Oklahoma would likely be the University of Oklahoma (OU), Oklahoma State University (OSU), and the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO). Each of them has unique strengths and resources that could cater to different student preferences.

The University of Oklahoma's School of Visual Arts offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Visual Communication. Some of OU's resources include the ONE University Store which is a fully-functioning Apple Authorized Campus Store, and their digital fabrication lab where you can utilize tools like 3D printing and laser cutting.

Oklahoma State University's Graphic Design program is part of its College of Arts and Sciences. They have studio sessions that allow students to work with local businesses and real clients. OSU also has the Modella Art Gallery downtown where graphic design students often display their work.

The University of Central Oklahoma offers a BFA in Design. Their Design Department features 24-hour access to their computer labs and small class sizes for personalized feedback. At UCO, you have access to the CHK | Central Boathouse, which functions as an event venue and a live acoustic room and houses a rowing training center for UCO athletics, providing unique opportunities for collaboration.

Please investigate these programs further to understand which one might align best with your individual aspirations in Graphic Design and take a look at their course catalogs to better understand the curriculum. A campus visit could further help you in seeing what student work looks like and getting a feel for the type of supportive community each school builds.
