Top Colleges for Entertainment Design?

I'm really drawn to entertainment design and I'm curious about which colleges are known for having strong programs in this field. It would be awesome to study something like this for my undergrad. Any recommendations?

Sure, there are several colleges known for having strong programs in Entertainment Design:

1. The University of Southern California (USC) has The Iovine and Young Academy’s Design, Technology and Entrepreneurship program that offers classes in product design and entrepreneurship, and it's located in Los Angeles, one of the entertainment capitals of the world.

2. NYU's Tisch School of the Arts is one of the top places for studying film and entertainment, and they offer a BFA in Interactive Media Arts that includes design and business.

3. CalArts (California Institute of the Arts) is another school that is highly recognized for its program in Character Animation which might interest you if you're looking into drawing characters for films, video games, or other digital mediums.

4. Carnegie Mellon University has a Bachelor of Design degree that offers a track in Products with an aim to produce groundbreaking work in fields ranging from entertainment to healthcare.

5. Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) is known for its programs in the arts and design disciplines. They offer both B.A. and B.F.A. programs in Sequential Art which might links nicely with Entertainment Design.

6. Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) also has strong design programs, and they offer degrees in Illustration, Animation, and Film/Animation/Video, all of which can nurture skills relevant to entertainment design.

Remember, the "best" college will depend on your individual goals, needs, and fit. It's important to take into consideration aspects like location, tuition, student-to-faculty ratio, and alumni network besides just the curriculum. Good luck on your college search!
