Wondering about conservative universities in the US

I'm interested in schools with a conservative vibe or reputation. What are some of the most conservative universities in the US? Trying to get a sense of where I might fit in next year when I apply!

There are a number of universities in the United States known for having a conservative environment. To start, there's Hillsdale College in Michigan, which is known for its emphasis on a classical liberal arts curriculum and its refusal to accept federal funding. This extends to financial aid, for which they provide their own need-based and merit-based scholarships. It's also worth noting their student-run publication, the Hillsdale Collegian, which provides an outlet for conservative editorial viewpoints.

Another solid option is Grove City College in Pennsylvania. This college does not accept any form of federal funding and is committed to academic excellence, Christian faith, and freedom. It's well-regarded for its rigorous academic programs and emphasis on character education.

A third recommendation is Liberty University in Virginia. A Christian university, Liberty is aligned more with Evangelical traditions, and the institution emphasizes robust conservative values. It has also been described as one of the largest Christian universities in the world and has a solid commitment to Christian service.

Finally, consider Pepperdine University in California. While slightly more moderate, it is affiliated with the Churches of Christ and is known for embedding Christian values across its programs. Their Seaver College is particularly well-respected, and tends to espouse more conservative values when compared to other Californian universities.

Remember to research each of the universities thoroughly and, if possible, visit their campuses to get a better feel for whether they are the right fit for you.
