What are the most demanding university degrees?

I'm trying to gauge which university degrees are considered the most demanding in terms of workload and difficulty. Would love to hear which ones are particularly challenging!

The level of difficulty in a university degree can be highly subjective and can depend on a student's individual strengths, interests, and commitment level. That being said, some degrees are often regarded as being particularly demanding due to their high workload, need for continuous study, and complex content.

1. Medicine: This is often seen as one of the most demanding degrees, as the amount of information to digest and recall is enormous. It also often involves very long hours of study and practical work.

2. Engineering: Whether it's chemical, electrical, civil, mechanical, or any other type of engineering, these degrees require strong mathematical and scientific knowledge, along with practical application and relentless problem-solving.

3. Architecture: This course demands creativity, practical designing skills, and extensive knowledge of material science and engineering principles. The workload is typically heavy with several project assignments requiring substantial time commitment.

4. Physics/Mathematics: These degrees are often considered challenging due to their highly analytical nature and the high level of abstract thinking required.

5. Law: While it demands less in terms of mathematical or scientific proficiency, a law degree requires heavy reading, comprehensive writing, strong argumentation skills, and a solid understanding of legal frameworks.

Please note that the most demanding degree will vary depending on an individual's strengths and the university they attend - what may be demanding for one individual may be less so for another. It's key to choose your university degree based on your interests and strengths, rather than purely on its perceived challenge or prestige.
