Where can Indian students find a large community in UK universities?

I'm an Indian student considering studying in the UK, and I'm curious about universities with a sizable Indian student community. Can anyone share which universities are known for having a lot of Indian students?

Several universities in the United Kingdom have significant Indian student populations, providing a sense of familiarity for incoming students and a robust sense of community.

1. University of Manchester: This university, located in the city of Manchester, houses a large number of Indian students, and the Indian Society is an active student group on campus that hosts social events and festivals throughout the year.

2. University College London (UCL): UCL also has a diverse student body, with a fair number of Indian students. Their Indian Society is known for organizing several events and activities.

3. University of Warwick: The University of Warwick is another institution known for its considerable Indian student body. The Warwick India Forum is a student-led society that organizes and hosts several talks by leaders from the fields of politics, business, and academia from India.

4. University of Birmingham: This university is home to a lot of international students, including Indian students. The India Society here conducts various events, festivals and networking sessions.

5. Kings College London: Kings College London also boasts a significant population of Indian students, reflected in the strong presence of the KCL Indian Society.

These universities are well-respected in their academic offerings, and the presence of Indian communities can provide support and camaraderie during your studies.

Remember, though, finding a university suitable for you shouldn't only depend on the size of the Indian community present. Beyond your peer group, you should also consider the course structure, faculty reputation, and academic resources each university provides.
