One of the most well-known and celebrated traditions at Auburn University is the "rolling of Toomer’s Corner". This tradition is linked to Auburn's sports success, specifically their football team.
Following a big win by the Auburn Tigers (the university's sports teams), the campus and the larger community come together to roll two iconic oak trees with toilet paper. This is accompanied by celebrations, cheers, photographs, and a lot of happy Auburn fans. It's a wonderful sight to behold and embodies the camaraderie and spirited culture of Auburn University.
The original trees were unfortunately removed in 2013 due to poisoning. Auburn University replaced them in 2015 and the tradition carries on with the new trees.
