AP Psychology Exam Breakdown?

Hey, everyone! I'm taking AP Psychology this year and I'm trying to figure out how much time I should allot for each section of the test. Can someone break down the time given for the multiple choice and the FRQs? Thanks a bunch!

Hi there! It's important to know the structure and timing of the AP Psychology exam to help you manage your time effectively. The exam consists of two main sections: multiple-choice and free-response questions (FRQs).

1. Multiple Choice: This section consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, and you're given 70 minutes to complete them. As you work through this section, try to spend an average of about 42 seconds per question.

2. Free-Response Questions (FRQs): The FRQ section consists of 2 questions, and you're given 50 minutes to answer both. It's recommended to spend about 25 minutes on each question, but you can adjust this depending on your individual strengths and weaknesses.

As you prepare for the exam, try to practice with these time limits in mind to get a better feel for the pace you need to maintain. Additionally, remember to prioritize understanding key concepts and terminology, as well as the application of these concepts to various situations.

Good luck with your AP Psychology exam preparations!
