Should I include my high school on a job application?

I'm filling out a job application and I'm not sure if I should include my high school info. Does it still matter if I'm just applying for a part-time role while I finish school?

It's a good idea to include your high school information on your job application, especially if you're still a student or a recent graduate. It can give potential employers insight into your education and experiences thus far. By including your high school, it shows that you're currently in an educational environment where you're learning valuable transferable skills like time management, project planning, team collaboration, and more. It can also show that you're familiar with having responsibilities and meeting deadlines, both of which are important in a work environment.

Even though it's a part-time role, all information relevant to your working capabilities is useful. More information is generally better than less, particularly when the application directly asks you to fill in these details. Plus, for entry-level jobs and internships, employers aren't expecting an extended resume and usually understand that your experience might largely be academic at this stage.

An important note: Make sure to adhere to the instructions or format of the job application. Some job applications might specify what they want you to include, and others might have a specific layout to follow. Therefore, it's essential to make sure you're providing the information in the manner requested by the employer.
