2. Preparing: Get in good physical and mental shape. The military has rigorous physical standards, regardless of the branch, and being healthy will help you throughout your journey.

3. Contact a recruiter: The next step is to contact a recruiter. They'll help guide you through the entire process, from giving you an overview to helping you understand the benefits and conditions of becoming a soldier.
