Can you enlist in the military with a peanut allergy?

I have a peanut allergy and I'm wondering if that affects my ability to enlist in the military. Does anyone know how strict they are about medical conditions like mine? Would I need some kind of waiver or special accommodation?

The U.S. military does have stringent medical standards, including for allergies. Initially, a peanut allergy may be classified as a disqualifying medical condition, as it can present a risk in various situations during service.
