Scholarships for undocumented students without DACA?

Hi guys! I'm currently an undocumented high school junior without DACA status, and I've been researching scholarships to help me with college tuition. Does anyone know of any scholarships specifically for students in my situation? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there! I understand that searching for scholarships can be challenging, especially for undocumented students without DACA status. Fortunately, there are scholarships out there specifically designed for students like you.

First, check out TheDream.US. They offer two scholarships, the National Scholarship and the Opportunity Scholarship. The National Scholarship is for high school seniors or community college graduates who will be transferring to a partner college, while the Opportunity Scholarship is for students who live in targeted, locked-out states and want to attend a partner college that offers in-state tuition.

Another organization worth looking into is the Golden Door Scholars program. They provide scholarships for high-achieving undocumented students to attend select colleges and universities in the United States.

You should also explore the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), which offers a scholarship resource guide for high school, college, and graduate students, including those who are undocumented.

In addition to these resources, make sure to reach out to your high school counselor and college financial aid offices, as they may be aware of local or school-specific scholarships for undocumented students.

Lastly, note that some states offer in-state tuition and/or state financial aid for undocumented students, so you may want to research your state's policies to see if that applies to you.

I hope this helps you find scholarships to support your college journey. Good luck!
