Top Civil Engineering Schools in New York?

For someone interested in studying civil engineering, which colleges in New York have a good reputation for this program? I'm a junior trying to narrow down my college list.

Despite being known for its bustling arts and financial scenes, New York also boasts some solid engineering schools, especially when it comes to Civil Engineering.

Starting with the Ivy League, Columbia University's Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science is ranked very highly nationally and offers a civil engineering major. Its location in the heart of NYC can be a great advantage for internships, jobs, networking, and exposure to mega construction projects.

The New York University Tandon School of Engineering also has a strong Civil Engineering program. It offers a wide range of concentrations such as structural engineering, transportation engineering, and construction management which can help match student's specific interests.

State schools also offer strong programs in this field. SUNY's College of Environmental Science and Forestry offers a program in Environmental Resources Engineering that could be of interest to someone looking at civil engineering from a Conservation/Environment angle.
