Best ROI colleges for engineering majors?

I'm trying to make sure the college I choose has a good ROI for engineering. What schools do you guys think have the best return on investment for engineering programs? I'm especially curious about salary prospects after graduation.

When it comes to engineering programs, certain institutions consistently stand out.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is usually at the top of the list. Its engineering graduates enjoy high starting salaries and have a stellar reputation in the industry.

Stanford University is also a fantastic choice. Its graduates also command high salaries, and it's located right next to Silicon Valley which presents a lot of job opportunities.

California Institute of Technology (Caltech) is another top-tier school for engineering. It has a smaller student body, allowing for more personalized attention, and its graduates receive high salaries.

University of California, Berkeley's College of Engineering is highly rated, and the in-state tuition can make it a particularly good value for California residents.

Purdue University's College of Engineering often ranks highly, and with lower tuition compared to private schools, it could provide a significant ROI.

Georgia Institute of Technology, or Georgia Tech, also tops the list for its excellent engineering programs and ROI. The in-state tuition for residents of Georgia can further enhance the value.

University of Michigan's College of Engineering is also a good choice with a solid ROI. This public research university is known for its high performing engineering programs.

It's worth remembering that average salaries can vary by engineering specialty, with fields like petroleum engineering and computer engineering often commanding higher salaries. It's also important to note that these schools are quite selective, so admission isn't guaranteed. However, there are many more engineering programs that offer a good return on investment—these are just a few examples.
