I'm pondering hands-on work and roofing sounds intriguing. What does a roofer's job entail? Is it physically demanding, and what's the job market like for roofers? Are there specific skills or training I should look into?

A roofer's role focuses on installing, repairing, or even replacing roofs for buildings, including both commercial and residential properties. Their work can involve a wide array of materials such as asphalt, wood, metal, or rubber. It's definitely a physically demanding job as it often requires lifting heavy materials, kneeling for long periods, and working at significant heights.
