Ohio engineering college recommendations?

What are the best colleges in Ohio for studying engineering? I'm not sure which specific field yet, maybe industrial engineering, but I'd love to hear about any strong programs nearby.

There are several universities in Ohio that have highly regarded engineering programs.

1. Ohio State University (OSU): OSU's College of Engineering is often recognized for its strength in a wide range of disciplines, including Industrial and Systems Engineering. It boasts diverse faculty, extensive research opportunities, and state-of-the-art facilities that allow you to gain hands-on experience.

2. Case Western Reserve University: Case is known for its strong programs in Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering, but also has other solid engineering disciplines. The school places emphasis on experiential learning, and many students participate in co-op programs, internships, or research projects.

3. University of Cincinnati: Their College of Engineering and Applied Science consistently ranks well, especially their Aerospace Engineering and Chemical Engineering programs. UC is also well-known for its robust co-op program which offers students valuable real-world experience as part of their studies.

4. University of Dayton: UD's School of Engineering is noted for its commitment to hands-on experiential learning. Their Industrial Engineering Technology program is well-regarded and offers students the opportunity to apply engineering principles to complex real-world problems.

Keep in mind that selecting the "best" program often comes down to finding the best fit for you personally. So, consider factors such as class size, faculty engagement, campus culture, and extracurricular opportunities in addition to program rankings and strengths.
