Top schools for environmental science in Ohio?

I'm planning to major in environmental science and want to stay in Ohio for college. Can anyone suggest some of the best schools in Ohio that are known for their environmental science programs? Bonus points if they're good with scholarships or financial aid!

When it comes to studying Environmental Science in Ohio, several schools stand out. The Ohio State University (OSU) has a highly regarded program. At OSU, the School of Environment and Natural Resources offers comprehensive undergraduate and graduate programs in Environmental Science, which equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to address complex environmental challenges. OSU has a variety of scholarships available and the school is committed to making education affordable.

Oberlin College is another solid option. The Environmental Studies program at Oberlin is one of the oldest in the country and benefits from the resources of the Adam Joseph Lewis Center for Environmental Studies. In terms of financial aid, Oberlin is committed to meeting 100% of demonstrated need for all admitted students.

Case Western Reserve University is also noteworthy. Although they don't offer a direct major in Environmental Science, they do have a major in Environmental Studies that can be paired with a major or minor in Biology, Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences for a more scientific focus. Case Western is known for their generous financial aid and scholarship opportunities.

Finally, it's worth considering Miami University. Known for its strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, Miami offers a BS in Environmental Earth Science. Miami University is known for its Merit Scholarship program for high-achieving students.

Remember, it's essential to investigate each college individually to understand the precise nature of their programs and how they fit with your career goals.
