Best UC college for engineering?

I'm looking to apply to the University of California system and I want to study engineering. Which UC campus is best for engineering majors? Anyone have experience or recommendations?

Several UC campuses are renowned for their engineering programs, so you'll have quite a few strong options to consider.

UC Berkeley is often noted for its highly ranked production in engineering. Its College of Engineering offers programs across several disciplines including Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Computer Engineering.

Similarly, UC San Diego's Jacobs School of Engineering is highly respected and offers a vast array of undergraduate engineering programs, including Aerospace Engineering, Bioengineering, and NanoEngineering.

UC Los Angeles (UCLA) also has a highly regarded engineering program — The Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science. They have a suite of programs ranging from Civil Engineering to Materials Engineering and Computer Science.

Lastly, UC Irvine's Samueli School of Engineering is recognized for being academically rigorous and has dedication to hands-on experience.

All these campuses have strong engineering faculties and offer a variety of majors. You might want to consider the specific type of engineering you're most interested in, and research which UCs have the most distinguished programs in that area.

Remember, the best school is one where you feel you can thrive academically, socially, and personally. So, aside from the reputation of the engineering program, take note of the campus culture, location, size, resources, and other factors that are important to you.
