Absolutely, there are several schools in Connecticut that offer robust computer science programs with ample research opportunities.

First and foremost, Yale University, one of the Ivy League schools located in New Haven, has a renowned Department of Computer Science. They offer both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Yale's computer science department is known for its strong faculty, offering various research opportunities in areas such as programming languages, artificial intelligence, computer graphics and cybersecurity.

The University of Connecticut (UConn) also has a strong computer science program. UConn's School of Engineering offers a comprehensive Computer Science and Engineering program with both undergraduate and graduate options, and houses research centers such as the Center for Hardware and Embedded Systems Security and Trust (CHEST).

In addition, Fairfield University and Connecticut College both provide strong Computer Science programs. Fairfield University's School of Engineering focuses on providing students hands-on experience, while Connecticut College offers interdisciplinary options to combine computer science with other areas of interest.

Lastly, Quinnipiac University in Hamden provides a bachelor's degree in Computer Science through its School of Engineering. The program emphasizes practical experience and offers internships and cooperative education opportunities.

Each of these programs has its unique strengths so you might want to explore each one further to see which best aligns with your specific interests and goals. Make sure to consider factors beyond the curriculum as well, such as location, potential financial aid packages, campus culture, and size of the school.
