Suggestions for engineering colleges that are great for B students?

I'm a B student and really passionate about pursuing engineering. I'm looking for colleges that have good engineering programs but also consider students like me. What are some schools that might be a good fit?

If you're passionate about engineering and maintaining a B average, there are plenty of good colleges for you to consider. San Jose State University, for example, has an impressive engineering program and accepts students with a range of GPA scores. It's one of the nation's top public engineering schools, especially for software engineering. Plus, being located in Silicon Valley offers some incredible internship and job opportunities.

Another option to consider is the University of Houston, which has a strong engineering program too. The Cullen College of Engineering offers a variety of engineering disciplines to pursue, whilst being considerably more forgiving in terms of the GPA if compared to other top-tier engineering schools.

The University of Kansas might also be a good fit, with a comprehensive School of Engineering that offers programs ranging from aerospace to petroleum engineering.

Remember that these are just suggestions and you should consider various factors (like location, size, cost, and cultural fit) when you are finalizing your college list. Additionally, note that while your grades play an important role in admissions, they are not the only factor. Your extracurricular activities, essays, and letters of recommendation also significantly contribute to your overall profile. You could further enhance your application by participating in engineering-related activities like robotics clubs, math competitions, or tech internships.

Lastly, making improvements in your GPA and standardized test scores (if the schools you're applying to consider them) could open up even more opportunities. There are resources available that can help you improve these areas if you decide to go down that path.

Hope this helps and best of luck in your college journey!
