I'm open to attending a community college anywhere in the USA as long as they have great computer science programs. Does anyone know which community colleges are ranked top for computer science?

Here are some community colleges known for strong computer science programs:

1. Santa Monica College (California): This college has an excellent reputation for its computer science program and a high transfer rate to four-year universities, including the highly regarded UC system.

2. Foothill College (California): Known for its Computer Information Systems program, Foothill College provides a range of course offerings that cater to aspiring computer scientists. It has transfer agreements to facilitate a smooth shift to four-year universities.

3. Pasadena City College (California): This college offers a comprehensive computer science curriculum with multiple tracks to suit different tech interests, including Cybersecurity and Data Science.

4. Northern Virginia Community College: Highly regarded for its computer science and Information Technology programs, NVCC offers a good transfer program to four-year colleges.

5. De Anza College (California): Offering excellent computer science programs, the school also boasts a high transfer rate to universities, often helping students get to state schools or prestigious universities financially-friendly.

6. Pima Community College (Arizona): This is a standout choice for those interested in Information Technology and Software development. Its curriculum is fantastic and designed to prepare students for the industry's needs.

While community colleges can provide a great start, remember that the "best" college for you will ultimately depend on your specific needs, goals, and additional factors like location, class sizes, faculty, and transfer agreements with four-year institutions. Research any community college in-depth before deciding if it's the right fit for you.
