Top colleges for criminal science?

I'm thinking about studying criminal science but not sure which colleges have the best programs. Can someone recommend a few schools that have strong criminal science departments?

Sure, there are many schools with strong Criminal Science/Criminal Justice programs.

Penn State University is highly recognized for its criminal justice program, which is housed within its College of the Liberal Arts. They offer a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts, providing students the flexibility to choose a more scientific or humanities-focused path within the field.

Florida State University also has an excellent program, housed in their College of Criminology and Criminal Justice. They offer a number of concentrations including Policing, Crime and Justice, and Criminology.

University of Maryland, College Park has a top-rated Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice. Their faculty members frequently obtain headlines for their research on hot-button issues, ensuring that classroom discussions remain relevant and dynamic.

Northeastern University is another top choice, known for its strong emphasis on experiential learning which is perfect for the Criminal Justice major. Many students participate in co-ops with law enforcement agencies, law firms, and research institutes.

Lastly, University of Cincinnati has a renowned School of Criminal Justice which implements a rigorous course curriculum, combining criminal justice theory and research.

These are just a few of the top programs. It could be beneficial to research more about each school's specific curriculum and resources to see which might be the best fit for your goals and interests.
