Any good colleges in Alabama for political science?

Hey, I'm planning to study political science and looking at options in Alabama. I’d love some input on which colleges in the state are known for strong political science programs. Any advice on good schools to consider?

There are indeed several solid choices for studying political science in Alabama. One option you should consider is the University of Alabama (UA). Known for its well-rounded curriculum, it has a strong political science department that offers specializations in areas like American politics, public policy, and political theory.

Auburn University is another good pick. The political science major at Auburn is housed within the College of Liberal Arts, where students have the opportunity to engage in research, internship programs, and study abroad experiences.

Those are just a couple of examples. It ultimately depends on what you are hoping to get out of your undergraduate experience, such as class size, campus culture, potential opportunities for internships, etc. That being said, both these schools would provide a strong foundation for someone intending to study political science. Always remember to visit the schools and reach out to the political science department's faculty or staff to get a feel for what each program offers. Best of luck with your decision!
