Best Colleges in Midwest for Engineering?

I'm starting to research colleges, and I'm keen on pursuing engineering. Does anyone know about the best engineering schools in the Midwest? I'm interested in somewhere with a strong program and good internship opportunities.

There are several reputable engineering schools in the Midwest that you might want to consider:

Starting with the University of Michigan's College of Engineering, it is particularly well-regarded and offers a range of engineering disciplines you could pursue. The college has strong ties with various industries, making it a great place for internship opportunities.

Purdue University's College of Engineering is another great choice. Purdue has a highly ranked engineering program and hosts a variety of career fairs focused on engineering, providing students with plenty of opportunities to secure internships.

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's Grainger College of Engineering is known for its cutting-edge research and strong alumni network in the tech industry, potentially opening doors for internship and job opportunities.

Northwestern University's McCormick School of Engineering is another institution to consider. While perhaps not as traditionally renowned as the other three for engineering, McCormick has innovative interdisciplinary programs, such as the MMM Program (an MBA + Design Innovation masters program run jointly with the Kellogg School of Management) and offers an Engineering First® Curriculum, which is a set of courses taken in the first two years of studies intended to cement the foundations of an engineering education.

Each of these schools has a slightly different flavor and set of strengths, so I'd recommend researching each to see which might align best with your personal goals and interests. Remember to consider factors beyond just academic reputation - things like size, location, student culture, and cost can also significantly impact your college experience.
