Sure, I'd be happy to help! Data Science has indeed grown increasingly popular as a major, and several universities offer strong programs in this field.

MIT is a standout choice, their undergraduate program in Data Science falls under the Electrical Engineering & Computer Science department and is highly ranked internationally. Moreover, MIT maintains strong industrial connections, offering you the chance to interact and intern with leading companies in the field.

Stanford University is another top choice. Their "Data Science" major is actually a customizable track within the Computer Science department, which allows you to tailor your degree according to your interests. Plus, Stanford's location in Silicon Valley provides premier internship and job opportunities.

The University of California, Berkeley, offers an undergraduate degree in Data Science. It's a truly interdisciplinary program that combines elements from social sciences, computer science, statistics, and management.

Carnegie Mellon University has a Bachelor of Science in Statistics & Machine Learning which might be of interest as it highly aligns with data science.

Lastly, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor has a highly-regarded undergraduate program in Data Science which falls under their School of Information.

These programs have strong academics as well as ties to industry, providing you with ample opportunities for internships and job placements after graduation. I would recommend researching each program to see which might be the best fit for you. Remember, it's not just about rankings but also the curriculum, faculty, research opportunities, and the culture of the school.
