What are the best colleges for forensic science and theater?

I'm interested in pursuing both forensic science and theater in college, but I'm not sure which schools offer strong programs for both. Any recommendations for colleges where I can study these two fields? Thanks!

If you're looking for strong programs in both forensic science and theater, I'd recommend considering the following schools:

1. University of Central Florida (UCF): Known for its impressive forensic science program under the Chemistry department, UCF also houses the School of Performing Arts, which offers several theater tracks, including acting, musical theatre, design and technology.

2. Pace University: At Pace, you'll find a robust Forensic Science program within Dyson College of Arts and Sciences. Equally notable is Pace's School of Performing Arts, known for its stellar Acting program and vibrant NYC location.

3. George Mason University: George Mason's College of Science offers a Forensic Science program with rigorous coursework across various forensic disciplines. Simultaneously, the School of Theatre offers a range of programs that will help you build your acting prowess.

These universities allow you to delve into both your passion for forensic science and theatre. Just remember, pursuing a double major or major/minor combo can be challenging, especially when the subjects are as distinct as these two are. Be sure to reach out to academic advisors at these colleges and any others you're interested in, and discuss your intentions and how feasible such a path would be. They can provide insights about course schedules, workload, and potential overlap (though, in this case, that might be minimal). Also, consider whether your interest in theater is something that you would like to pursue in a formal academic setting or whether involvement in campus theater groups might be sufficient. Best of luck in your college hunt!
