Music production and engineering college recommendations?

I'm super into producing music and want to study music production and engineering in college. Any ideas on which colleges have the best programs for someone who wants to focus on both production and tech?

Two schools with strong reputations in Music Production and Engineering to start you off are Berklee College of Music in Boston and the University of Southern California (USC).

Berklee's Music Production and Engineering (MP&E) program is known internationally for its rigorous, hands-on curriculum, and has alumni who have gone on to win Grammys and other music industry awards.

On the other hand, USC’s Thornton School of Music offers a Music Technology program where students can concentrate on areas such as music production, music recording, electronic music composition, and even software design for music. This program has a well-rounded and innovative approach to the field.

There's also the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at New York University (NYU)'s Tisch School of the Arts. This unique program provides professional business and artistic training toward a BFA degree for aspiring creative entrepreneurs in the music industry.

Lastly, the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music offers a Music Engineering Technology program with top-notch facilities and a comprehensive curriculum.

Remember to look into these programs' specific course details, the alumni network, internship and work opportunities, and the flexibility of the curriculum, to see which one would align with your career goals and personal interests.
