Best college in Oregon for engineering?

I'm curious about the engineering programs in Oregon. Which college there is known for having an excellent engineering department?

The Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech) and Oregon State University (OSU) are two institutions in Oregon known for their strong engineering programs.

Oregon Tech offers several engineering programs including civil, electrical, mechanical, and software engineering, which are all accredited by the ABET. They practice a hands-on methodology to prepare students for the working world by equipping them with practical skills. Additional emphasis is placed on intensive lab work and internships opportunities.

At the same time, OSU has a broad scope of engineering programs, including biological, chemical, environmental, and industrial engineering, among others. Their College of Engineering is recognised for its research contributions and its commitment to providing students with ongoing industry connections, research opportunities, and internships.

So while both universities offer excellent engineering programs, the best fit for you would depend on your preferred specialization and your inclination for learning (research-heavy versus practical learning).
