Recommended midsized colleges for political science?

I want to major in political science and am looking for midsized colleges that are known for their programs. I'd like to avoid large or small schools if possible. What are some good options?

Certainly, there are plenty of midsize colleges that offer strong political science programs. One option that stands out from the rest is George Washington University, situated in Washington DC. The opportunities for internships at places like the White House or Congress and the access to experts in the field are unparalleled. The political science program is top-notch and students have a lot of opportunities to engage with the material in real-world situations.

Another university to consider is Georgetown University, also in Washington, D.C. Its location in the heart of our nation's capital offers countless opportunities for real-world political experiences, and the renowned faculty offers rigorous instruction.

Away from D.C., there's Tufts University in Massachusetts. Tufts has a prestigious political science program and is known for fostering intellectual discussions among students and faculty. On the West Coast, Claremont McKenna College, part of the Claremont Colleges in California, has a strong political science department.

Lastly, the University of Richmond in Virginia is a smaller university with a robust political science program that emphasizes experiential learning. They offer various research opportunities for undergraduate students.

Remember that each of these schools has its vibe and culture, so be sure to do your research to see which one fits your personal preferences best.
