In the state of Indiana, three schools are particularly known for their strong political science programs.

1) University of Notre Dame: The Department of Political Science at the University of Notre Dame offers a well-rounded curriculum covering several subfields of Political Science, including American Politics, Comparative Politics, International Relations, and Political Theory. They have excellent faculty who are recognized for their research output. Notre Dame's program also leans philosophical, which may appeal to you if you're interested in political theory. Their International Relations program is also highly rated. Additionally, students have the possibility of participating in the Washington Program, which provides the students with an opportunity for a semester-long internship in Washington, D.C.

2) Indiana University Bloomington (IU): IU's Department of Political Science provides rigorous coursework and opportunities for research, internships, and independent study. They offer a variety of concentrations, including Public Law, Comparative Politics, and Political Theory, among others. IU also has an extensive study abroad program if you're interested in international politics. Furthermore, Bloomington is a politically active campus, providing you with various extracurricular opportunities such as participation in Model United Nations or volunteering in local political campaigns.

3) Purdue University: Purdue University has a strong Department of Political Science. Their research emphasis includes American politics, comparative politics, international relations, public policy, and political philosophy. Additionally, Purdue offers excellent opportunities for undergraduate research and internships and has associations like the Political Science Club and the Pi Sigma Alpha honor society.

I encourage you to research these schools further, visit campuses if possible, and reach out to their respective admissions offices or department heads with any additional questions. Be sure to also take into account universities' overall fit and financial factors aside from program strength!
