Best Ivy League college for political science?

I've been looking into political science programs and am curious about which Ivy League college stands out the most. Does anyone have experience or insights on which one ranks best for political science majors?

In terms of reputation, faculty, and the variety of courses offered, Harvard University, Yale University, and Princeton University are typically known for having some of the strongest political science programs in the Ivy League (and indeed, the country).

At Harvard, for instance, you have access to a wide array of resources, such as the Institute of Politics, which hosts several events with significant figures in politics, as well as a notably strong Government department.

Yale has a very strong Political Science department, with a high number of faculty teaching a wide range of sub-disciplines. They also have the Institution for Social and Policy Studies, which serves as a hub for interdisciplinary research in the social sciences.

Princeton is also considered to be at the forefront of the field, particularly known for its strong emphasis on research. The university hosts the Center for the Study of Democratic Politics, providing undergraduates with numerous research opportunities.

All this being said, it is crucial to take into account your personal preferences and goals, such as whether you're interested in a particular subfield within political science (like international relations, public policy, or political theory, etc.) or if you're looking for practical experiences like internships. Thoroughly research each program to make sure it aligns with your own objectives!
